“I have just one suggestion and that is to apprise renters that there are 15 steps to get up to the actual living quarters—It was a huge surprise when we got there and was not a problem for us but it could be a disaster for someone that is disabled or with assistive devices. We did not see anything in the ad that reflected the steps.”

“Our family of 6 adults were so excited to visit the Finger Lakes for the first time. The house is very old and has amazing bones located on the Channel but across the Owasco fire dept on a very busy, noisy main road. The kitchen was not cleaned properly in additions to many other areas of the home. Carpets and furniture were dirty and full of stains. The pantoon boat was old and carpeted and full of bees and not fully fueled up as it should have been. Unfortunately the grand home is run down...

“Clean rooms. Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of space for three adults, one teenager and a three year old - especially during snowy times when we stayed at the house all day. We stayed the week of Christmas. I asked whether a Christmas tree was on-site -- it was a beautiful tree, set up and decorated nicely for our Christmas Eve arrival. I forgot to buy scotch tape for wrapping a few presents.. and asked if any was at the house - although there wasn't, they dropped some off the same evening along...

“We rented this property for a long overdue reunion with family. Everything was lovely. The hosts were terrific to work with. For our situation, having two bedrooms was wonderful. The kitchen and dining area face the lake, so coffee in the morning was our favorite place to gather. The location couldn’t be better if you want to venture out. We stayed in the winter, but we’d love to visit again in the summer. Thanks again for letting us stay with you! ”
